Spirit Card sales continue at local businesses

Due to popular demand the Lyon County Schools Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is once again making Spirit Cards available for purchase for just $10 per card at two business locations in Eddyville. Spirit Cards can be purchased at Akridge Hardware and Farm Supply (724 W. Fairview Ave.) and at Regional Glass (12 Business Row off of 641).  The sale of these discount savings cards continue to be one of the main fundraisers for the PTO.

Spirit Cards, which are the size of a credit card to easily fit in your wallet, feature 43 local and neighboring restaurants and businesses where you can receive savings and discounts just by showing your card.  Money raised from the sale of these cards help the schools by supporting teacher efforts in the classrooms, books in the library, field trips, scholarships, and other school related expenses.  Spirit Cards are great for everyone in the family and are perfect to give away to friends or as gifts.
